Do Lace Lid's Work For Nike Sensor

Nettalk 6 - A worthwhile alternative?

many buttons, confusing menu system and lots of stuff to set, of which we have basically no idea - These scenes take place daily in thousands of IRC users from that expected from a comfortable relay chat really nothing more than simplicity and functionality. Attempt to facilitate the normal otto IRC'ler operation and to provide more fun on the Internet relay chat client is now the new IRC client to Nettalk. While there are already paid clients, but was lacking in the department so far been a freeware program that can compete with the other dogs to be paid.

Nettalk 6 is a good piece, which calls itself the powerful and comfortable. Interesting features are on top: Full script, and plugin support, automated command-and-nick-completion, Any number of parallel connections, spell checking and much more. On top of that the whole thing should be ad and spyware-free! Whether the program really keeps its promises, or displayed with large numbers and many features, we have taken a closer look.

After downloading the small ones. Exe (~ 3MB) from one of four official download servers, installation is also done so quickly as the download. The setup is clicked through quickly and within a minute is Nettalk 6 on our hard drive.

you're set: Nettalk 6 is a fix and easy a server from the more lush list selected or entered the desired IP - And on the fun. The next step is only given quickly to your nick name and a user ID and passwords for ID and the server.

We take the fast version and connect with nicknames on the well-known server QuakeNet (irc.quakenet.org). That was fast! Within seconds we are on the server and can now, with a few clicks, join in one of the many channels. Either through the innovative space-list, the simple and to be posted directly in the small menu bar, and in the currently open channel QuakeNet are listed in (yes the are quite many and there is unfortunately no way to filter), or the simple "/ join CHANNEL NAME" command, containing as in real IRC! Here, the command completion helps great! From the tap turned on us "/ joi # haiCon" Nettalk automatically formed the "/ join # haiCon" command. So the lazy writing easier with our lives: Most orders reach half the program automatically detects and improved. Ruck-Zuck we enter the parlor and it is immediately positive: User List of channels in Nettalk finally scaled wider, so that at a glance the full name

can identify the respective users, and not just the prefix and the first 2-3 letters!

Brennnessell, Brennesssel, or stinging nettle?

We all have the words to spell correctly and are difficult to write - as is the spell checker can help. But unfortunately it does not like to imagine the would: instead offer us at the command of "Brenessel" the word "nettle", we tried Nettalk the attribute "broad shouldered" tightening. While this may apply to the nearest nightclub bouncer, but with the spelling of a disagreeable burning plant that has nothing to do.

From this little damper on the attempt, error-free and easy as possible to roam the QuakeNet, let us slow down and not decide now, to connect us to another server in order to have even more fun. Also in terms of parallel connections Nettalk is simple and reliable. With just 2 clicks, we have to connect to another server set up.

Not only users have it enjoyable.

Even Channel Admins can now easily and quickly "shortcuts" for various

commands such as "kick", "spell" and create many more. For example, after

appropriate setting, a user only with "/ k user" instead of "/ kick user" unceremoniously removed from the channel. Good: Easy to use macro programming IRC also offers newcomers the opportunity to adjust quickly personal shortcuts

.

Must .... ! Scripting

Also, the script uses crazies among us: A modest and unspectacular crafted script function which also offers fun, the cut in times like the buttons individually to modify their IRC. Commands into the empty text box, pure and ready - but not for beginners.

Conclusion: Nettalk 6 of the IRC client, like all his (paid) counterparts is set to order and simplicity. Very well done are the simple design of the client and the simple listing of the extensive command spectrum. Special features such as command completion and spell check does not work all the way they should. Very well done is the same in turn connect to various servers. With which one can theoretically to build as many servers to connect without it itches. Spyware free is the Whole, but it uses about 6 times more memory than the conventional mIRC. But at moderate 13MB it remains within the bearable. to mIRC and large, therefore a good alternative and the fee-based colleagues Nettalk. To get the latest version of Nettalk on www.ntalk.de .
